AfterParty is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information to provide our photo sharing service:

• Account Information: Your name (as provided by you) to identify you in shared albums
• Photos and Videos: Media files you choose to upload to shared albums
• Album Data: Information about albums you create or join, including album names and participant lists
• Device Information: Basic device information for app functionality and crash reporting

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the core photo sharing functionality
• Identify you to other album participants
• Store and organize your shared media
• Send album invitations when requested
• Improve app performance and fix technical issues

3. Data Storage and Security

Temporary Storage: All photos and albums are stored temporarily and automatically expire after a set period.

Cloud Storage: We use secure cloud services (Firebase and Cloudinary) to store your data with industry-standard encryption.

Location Data: We only access location information embedded in photo metadata (EXIF data) - we do not request device location permissions.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• With other participants in the same shared album (photos and your name)
• With trusted service providers who help us operate the app (under strict confidentiality agreements)
• When required by law or to protect our rights

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Remove photos you've uploaded
• Leave shared albums at any time

6. Data Retention

Photos and albums are automatically deleted after their expiration period. Account information is retained only as long as your account is active.

7. Children's Privacy

AfterParty is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
